You and I are so similar in a lot of things. I have and use a wax sealer. I've done it for years when sending out a handwritten letter or sealing a card that goes on top of a gift. I love love love it.
I think the fact that I'm a little pyro adds to my love. Watching the wax melt from the stick is so relaxing to me :)
There's a Paper-Ya shop nearby, and every time I go there to drool over too much adorable stationary, I consider purchasing a seal. Now I am so very tempted.
I bought a beautiful wax seal and sealed all my graduation announcements. It was really cool! HOWEVER the wax most likely got crushed when the stamp was canceled by the machine at the post office. Maybe we could also resurrect the pony express.
I used to use them when I was a teenager -- I really love them, too. I especially like this black on white -- very classy. I think you need one, Heather.
Ooh, I like wax seals too. Brent & I each have one with our initial. We have fun using the seals when we write letters and cards to each other. You should definitely get one!

One of my good friends on my mission got one of these and used it for when she gave ward members thank you cards! It was dang cute and classy too!
I love it too! I tried doing it for my wedding announcements and gave up after about 20.
