A few weeks ago I bought a flag to hang outside. She's beautiful, and we respectfully bring her inside every night. Whenever I see a flag flying at someone's house it makes me feel good.
You're a Grand Old Flag, You're a high-flying flag, And forever in peace may you wave. You're the emblem of the land I love, The home of the free and the brave.
Every heart beats true 'Neath the red, white, and Blue, Where there's never a boast or brag. Should auld acquaintance be forgot, Keep your eye on the Grand Old Flag.
That is another song I have memorized (I hope I got it right). I learned it from watching James Cagney in the 1942 movie about George M. Cohan called "Yankee Doodle Dandy."
You should watch it if you haven't seen it before...
I also need to say that I hope you guys make more of your books because I need one. Ok, I don't, but it would make a lovely gift for a pregnant friend.
Haha, my guy and I JUST had this 'discussion': he wants an Irish flag to honour his heritage, but I said I'd rather a Canadian one to honour my own, and so no flag has been raised over here.
Hello. My name is Heather and I have a husband, a kiddo and a baby on the way. We live a happy life in our cozy bungalow. This is my blog about what we do, and the finer things in life. Bon Appetite!
