My friend Megan recently dyed an entire couch cover that turned out beautifully. I was chatting with her about it and she said that it was super easy, even for those of you with front-loader washing machines. I told her about a chair that I used for Cole when he was a baby, but I wasn't a fan of the pale yellow anymore, especially since I'm not using it in a nursery. She generously gave me her extra dye, and sent me on my way, and gave me
this link to check out.
It's an extremely simple process, and all of the detailed instructions are on the inside of the packet. You dye whatever fabric you're using all in the washing machine, and it's pretty much as simple as doing a load of laundry. The dye is called
iDye and you can find it in select JoAnn's craft stores.
Before
After*Note, in real life, the color looks WAY more even. This picture looks a bit patchy but it's really not.
