Camping in Diamond Fork, Utah

This weekend was our first family camping trip. We went with out ward (church congregation) and it was so much fun! It was only one night so we figured it was a great practice round for our ambitious camping dreams that will be happening this summer.
Despite the crazy rainstorm Friday morning and afternoon, all of the husbands were positive that it would blow over by 5:00pm, so we all headed up. The drive up Spanish Fork Canyon was absolutely beautiful! The air was crystal clear as the black rain clouds rolled away over the mountains. We got to the site where we met up with everyone. It wasn’t muddy, like we anticipated. It was perfect! So beautiful!
It got REALLY cold in the middle of the night, but everyone was still alive and well in the morning. I’d say it was a pretty successful camping trip! I can’t wait for our next one!
Our drive on the way up! So beautiful!
